The FIVB Level II Coaching Course officially commenced today with an opening ceremony held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, running from 9th to 13th March 2026.
A total of 35 participants, including 6 international participants, are taking part in this important coaching development program.
The ceremony was graced by the President of the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation, Senior DIG Sajeewa Medawatta, as the Chief Guest. Vice Presidents of SLVF Mr. Mahinda Bandara and Commander Mahesh Kariyawasam, along with several Executive Committee Members of SLVF, were also present at the occasion.
The course is being conducted by Sri Lankan FIVB Instructor Mr. Charles Thilakarathne, providing valuable knowledge and advanced coaching education to the participants.
This program marks another significant step in developing and strengthening volleyball coaching standards in Sri Lanka and the region.
