Good achievement of the SLVF to meet the leaders of FIVB General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation, Wing Commander Akhila De Alwis, met with Mr. Hitesh Malhotra, Head of FIVB Empowerment and NF Relations, and Mr. Mehdi Mhidi, FIVB International Transfer Coordinator & Legal Counsel, during his visit to the FIVB and International Olympic Committee headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland. The discussion focused on bringing foreign coaches to support national team development, acquiring volleyball equipment for local use, and enhancing the process of international player transfers to provide Sri Lankan athletes with more opportunities on the global stage

National Men’s Volleyball Pool Training Begins The Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation officially commenced National Pool Training on 15th September 2025, in preparation for the CAVA Men’s Nations Cup to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.A total of 30 players were selected during the national selection trials conducted on 11th September at the Torrington Indoor Stadium. These talented players will undergo intensive training as they represent the strength and spirit of Sri Lanka on the international stage.
